Office Manager
Sue has been part of the firm from the very beginning assisting her husband set up the business back in 1983. She is now both office manager and accounts manager and still remains a very hands on and integral part of the firm.

Cath Price
Senior Secretary
Cath is one of the longest serving employees in the firm having joined in 1992 as a legal secretary. She has been a valued and loyal member of staff since and has worked within most departments over the years and is therefore able to turn her hand to most things. Prior to joining Darby & Darby, Cath attended secretarial college and worked for Northcliffe Newspapers and then on to various different law firms around central London before relocating to the South West. Cath has three sons and is married to a retired Barristers Senior Clerk.

Rebecca Holloway
Trainee Licensed Conveyancer
Rebecca joined the firm in February 2002. She works in the Conveyancing department dealing with residential and commercial transactions.
Rebecca started off as a Secretary and progressed to Trainee Licensed Conveyancer, a qualification which she hopes to complete and qualify in by March 2010. Having now started her final exams she has succesfully already passed Law of Contract and Land Law (Foundation level). Previously Rebecca worked as a Secretary for a Senior Partner at Kitson Hutchings for three years in residential conveyancing and also spent a time working for the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary.

Kate Bufton
Trainee Legal Executive
Kate joined the firm in 2005 as a secretary and is currently studying for her ILEX Qualification with her Level 3 exams being due in Oct 2009. She already holds both her ECDL and CLAIT certifictaes. Kate works in the probate department dealing with all day to day matters concerning wills and probate.

Carrie Darby
Trainee Legal Cashier
Following a career in office management and recruitment, Carrie joined the firm in May 2007 on a part time basis to train as Legal Cashier.
Jenny Plumb
Secretary
Jenny joined the firm in December 2007 as an office assistant but predominantly provides secretarial support to the conveyancing department. With an NVQ 2 & 3 in Business and Administration, Jenny comes from a background working within the public sector providing administrative support for Torbay Council Planning Department & Torbay Care Trust Adult Social Services.
